A welcoming and inclusive primary school in Haringey is seeking a dedicated KS1 SEN Teaching Assistant for a September start. The successful candidate will support pupils with a range of additional needs, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), ADHD, speech and language needs, and social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting pupils with SEN across Key Stage 1
- Delivering targeted interventions and classroom support
- Promoting communication, social development, and emotional regulation
- Supporting positive behaviour and engagement in learning
- Working collaboratively with teachers, the SEND team, and parents
- Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment where every child can thrive
The school is looking for someone who:
- Has experience supporting children with SEN or additional learning needs
- Is patient, caring, and enthusiastic
- Can build positive relationships with pupils and staff
- Has strong communication and teamwork skills
