A welcoming and inclusive primary school in Haringey is looking for a dedicated KS1 SEN Teaching Assistant for a September start. The successful candidate will support pupils with a range of additional needs, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), ADHD, speech and language needs, and social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs. Working closely with the class teacher and SEND team, you will provide both 1:1 and small group support to help pupils access learning, develop confidence, and make excellent progress.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting pupils with SEN across Key Stage 1
- Delivering targeted interventions and classroom support
- Promoting communication, social development, and emotional regulation
- Supporting positive behaviour and engagement in learning
- Working collaboratively with teachers, the SEND team, and parents
- Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment where every child can thrive
