Long Term Futures is recruiting two Teaching Assistants to join a highly regarded primary school in Hammersmith Fulham from September. These classroom-based roles offer the opportunity to work alongside experienced teachers, supporting learning across Key Stage 2 and helping pupils reach their full potential. One position is based within Year 5, where strong English and Maths skills are essential to support pupils as the curriculum becomes more challenging.

About the Role

  • Support pupils during whole-class teaching and independent learning activities
  • Deliver targeted interventions in English and Maths to individuals and small groups
  • Reinforce classroom learning through clear explanations and tailored support
  • Encourage confidence, resilience and positive attitudes towards learning
  • Adapt activities to meet the needs of different learners where required
  • Prepare classroom resources and contribute to an engaging learning environment
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and support staff to maximise pupil progress

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Previous experience working in a primary school is desirable
  • Graduates with strong academic backgrounds are encouraged to apply
  • Confident supporting English and Maths, particularly within KS2

  • Positive, proactive and enthusiastic approach to learning
