Long Term Futures is seeking a caring and proactive EYFS Teaching Assistant to join a friendly primary school in Mackworth, Derby. This role is ideal for someone with a strong understanding of the EYFS framework and a genuine passion for supporting children in their early development.
Location: Mackworth, Derby
Pay: £110 – £115 per day
Contract: Full-time, long-term
Hours: 8:30am – 3:30pm, Monday to Friday
Start Date: ASAP
You’ll be working closely with nursery and reception-aged pupils, helping to create a positive and engaging learning environment where every child can thrive.
Key Responsibilities- Support classroom routines and daily learning activities
- Deliver fun, engaging sessions to support development
- Observe and track children’s progress
- Build strong relationships with pupils and families
- Support personal care when required
- Maintain a safe and nurturing environment at all times
- Experience within an EYFS or nursery setting
- Enthusiastic, hands-on, and willing to learn
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
