Are you a passionate and nurturing Early Years Teaching Assistant looking for a rewarding new opportunity this September?
Long Term Futures are working in partnership with a welcoming and supportive Primary School in Birmingham to recruit a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join their Nursery team on a long-term basis.
This is a fantastic opportunity to support children at the very beginning of their education, helping them develop their confidence, communication, independence and love of learning through engaging, play-based activities.
- Support the class teacher in delivering engaging EYFS lessons and continuous provision activities.
- Work with pupils on a 1:1 basis, in small groups, and as part of whole-class learning.
- Encourage learning through play, exploration, and child-led activities.
- Support the development of children's communication, literacy, numeracy, and social skills.
- Observe and monitor pupil progress, providing feedback to the class teacher.
- Help prepare learning resources and maintain an organised, stimulating classroom environment.
What We’re Looking For
- A Level 3 qualification in a childcare-related subject.
- Previous experience supporting children within an EYFS or Reception setting.
- A patient, proactive, and enthusiastic approach to supporting young learners.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- A genuine passion for early years education and child development.
