Are you a compassionate and proactive SEN Teaching Assistant looking to make a real difference? A welcoming and inclusive primary school in Aldridge, Walsall is seeking a dedicated individual to support pupils with additional needs in a nurturing learning environment. Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO, you'll play a key role in helping children overcome barriers to learning, build confidence and achieve their full potential. Responsibilities:
- Support pupils with a range of SEN, including Autism, ADHD and speech & language needs.
- Deliver 1:1 and small group interventions.
- Encourage positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing.
- Adapt learning activities to meet individual needs.
- Work closely with teachers, SENCOs and parents to support pupil progress.
What We’re Looking For:
- A Level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning or a related subject.
- Experience supporting children with SEN in a primary school or similar setting.
- A patient, caring and resilient approach.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- A genuine passion for helping children reach their full potential.
