Location: Leicestershire (LE12)
Salary: 95 – 100 per day (PAYE)
Contract: Full-time Long-term to permanent
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm

About the School
The school supports a small cohort of pupils aged 4-13 with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. With a calm, structured environment and class sizes kept small, students benefit from a highly personalised approach to learning.
Facilities include a MUGA sports area, science and art rooms, a music studio, calm and sensory spaces, and outdoor learning provision.
As a Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Support pupils 1:1 and in small groups, helping them stay focused and engaged
- Assist with behaviour management and emotional regulation strategies
- Work across academic, creative and outdoor learning sessions
- Collaborate with teachers and other staff to deliver tailored support
- Contribute to a safe, positive and inclusive learning environment
What We\’re Looking For
- Experience supporting children or young people with additional needs (SEMH, SEN, or behavioural challenges)
- A calm, patient and resilient approach
- Good communication skills and a team-first attitude
- Backgrounds in education, youth work, residential care or support work are welcome
Note: You do not need prior SEMH experience – if you\’re calm, consistent, and committed, training and support will be provided.
