Swadlincote (DE11) £28,870.00 - £36,590.00 Per Annum Permanent Position Start: ASAP and September 2026 Full Time (Part Time Considered)
Long Term Futures are working in partnership with a Further Education provider in Swadlincote (DE11) to appoint an experienced Electrical Installation Course Leader on a Permanent basis. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching across Level 2, T Level, and Level 3 Electrical Installation programmes, supporting learners to achieve excellent outcomes in both practical and theoretical components, while also taking a lead role in course coordination and development.
Key Benefits:

- Level 3-5 Education & Teaching
- Level 3 TAQA Assessor Qualification

- Level 4 HNC in Construction/Civil Engineering
The Role:
- Deliver engaging Electrical Installation lessons across Level 2, T Level, and Level 3 courses
- Lead on course planning, organisation, and quality assurance processes
- Plan, prepare and assess student work in line with awarding body requirements
- Monitor attendance, retention, achievement, and learner progress
- Additional development and delivery of specialist industry related courses may also be required.
- Support learners in developing practical skills and industry knowledge
- Work collaboratively within the Construction and Engineering department
We Are Looking For:
- You must have an enhanced DBS on the update service
- If successful, you must be available to start ASAP
- A recognised Electrical Installation qualification (e.g. NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)
- Recent teaching experience within an FE setting is desirable
- Experience delivering Electrical Installation up to Level 3 (T Level experience desirable)
- You should be qualified to, or willing to work towards, Level 2 English and Maths. Evidence of qualifications is required.
- Ability to manage course delivery and maintain accurate records
- Up-to-date industry knowledge and vocational competence
