Key Responsibilities: Plan and deliver engaging sports and physical education sessions, adapted to the needs and abilities of students with SEND, particularly those with ASD Work closely with teachers and support staff to integrate physical activity into students' learning and development Provide one-to-one and small group support, ensuring that all students can participate safely and confidently Use specialised equipment and modify activities to promote inclusivity and accessibility Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting sessions as needed to encourage continuous development Foster a positive and supportive environment, helping students build confidence, teamwork, and social skills through physical activityWho We're Looking For: Relevant coaching qualifications (e.g., Level 2 Coaching, PE & School Sport Qualification, or equivalent) Experience working with students with SEND, particularly those with ASD, in a coaching or educational setting A strong understanding of adaptive physical education practices and how to tailor activities to suit diverse needs Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate students A team player, with experience working alongside teachers and other school staff A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the well-being of studentsTransport Links: The school is easily accessible by public transport, with Edgware Underground Station (Northern Line) providing direct connections to central London and surrounding areas.
