SEN Teaching Assistant – SEN Hub (ASD, SLCN, Global Delay)

Location: Kings Heath, Birmingham, B14
Weekly Pay: 460 – 500
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 3:30 pm (term time only)
Start Date: ASAP
Contract: Long-term, Temp-to-Perm

Long Term Futures is seeking a caring and resilient SEN Teaching Assistant to join the SEN Hub within a mainstream primary school in Kings Heath. The role involves supporting children with ASD, Speech, Language and Communication Needs (SLCN), and Global Developmental Delay across EYFS and Key Stage One. This is a long-term role until the end of the academic year, with the opportunity to go permanent for the right candidate.

  • Qualifications: Level 2 or 3 Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools (or equivalent).
  • Experience: Minimum of 1 year supporting children with SEN in EYFS or KS1.

  • Knowledge: Strong understanding of strategies to support ASD, SLCN, and Global Delay within an inclusive environment.
