Overview

SEN Teaching Assistant. Location: Dudley, DY1. Pay Rate: Β£105 – 115. Days: Monday to Friday (Term Time Only). Start Date: ASAP. Contract: Long-Term, Temp to Perm.

Are you passionate about making a difference in children\’s lives? A welcoming mainstream Primary School in Dudley is looking for a caring, committed SEN Teaching Assistant to join their supportive team.

You\’ll be working closely with pupils who require additional support, offering tailored 1:1 and small group interventions to help them thrive both academically and socially.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide 1:1 and group support for pupils with SEN, including ASD, ADHD and speech & language needs
  • Lead small group sessions tailored to individual learning goals
  • Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to adapt resources and strategies
  • Help manage behaviour positively and consistently
  • Promote inclusion and pupil independence across all activities

We\’re Looking For

  • Level 2/3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools qualification, or relevant qualifications
  • Experience supporting children with SEN in a school or similar setting
  • A calm, patient, and empathetic approach
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • A genuine desire to support children\’s progress and wellbeing
