Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to pupils with SEMH needs (Primary or Secondary phase)
- Build strong, trusting relationships to support behaviour, emotional regulation, and engagement
- Implement consistent behaviour strategies in line with the school's therapeutic approach
- Adapt curriculum delivery to meet individual needs, including EHCP targets
- Monitor and track pupil progress, supporting both academic and personal development
- Work collaboratively with support staff, therapists, and external agencies
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience working with SEMH, SEND, or pupils with behavioural needs is highly desirable
- Strong behaviour management and relationship‑building skills
- A patient, resilient, and adaptable approach to teaching
- Passionate about supporting vulnerable learners to achieve positive outcomes
