Location: Swadlincote, Derbyshire (DE11)
Salary: 27,528 – 32,072 per annum ( 11.85 – 12.65 per hour + 60 per sleep-in)
Job Type: Full-time, Long-term to Permanent
Shift Pattern: Rolling rota, 08:00 AM – 11:00 PM (includes sleep-ins)

In this fulfilling role, you will provide care, support, and guidance to children with learning disabilities, including Autism, ADHD, and non-verbal communication, helping them thrive in a safe and nurturing environment.

Your Key Responsibilities:
- Provide care and guidance in line with Ofsted regulations, ensuring each child’s safety, education, and personal development.
- Create a positive, supportive atmosphere where children feel valued and empowered.
- Collaborate closely with the Registered Manager to ensure smooth daily operations.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience with Autism, ADHD, or non-verbal communication is a plus, but if you’re enthusiastic and willing to learn, we can provide full training.
- Knowledge of Makaton or PECS is desirable, but not essential.
- A valid UK/EU manual driving licence is highly desirable but not essential.
- Flexibility to work a rolling rota with sleep-in shifts.
- An enhanced DBS and safer recruitment checks (we can help with this).
Example Rota:
- Week 1: Monday, Thursday, Saturday
- Week 2: Tuesday, Friday, Sunday
- Week 3: Wednesday
