Primary Teaching Assistant Sutton 95 – 115 per day Mon-Fri, 8:30am-3:30pm Immediate Start

Long Term Futures is seeking a skilled Primary Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant school community in the borough of Sutton. You will be a vital part of the support team, specialising in helping pupils with their academic and emotional well-being within Early Years or Key Stage 1. Our approach focuses on long-term, stable work, which offers the potential for a permanent role. We also use trial days in place of formal interviews to ensure the perfect fit for everyone.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide essential classroom support to pupils.

  • Help to foster positive behaviour and social development.

  • Assist in building pupil confidence and self-esteem.

  • Work collaboratively with teachers on lesson planning and pupil progress.

Essential Requirements

  • Prior experience as a Primary Teaching Assistant.

  • Experience with Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) or Key Stage 1 (KS1).

  • A warm and supportive approach to helping young learners.

  • The ability to connect effectively with children, staff and parents.
