Daily & Salary Rates Paid in Line with Main Pay Scale

Long Term Futures are working with a wide network of primary schools across Birmingham to recruit teachers ahead of the September 2026 academic year. We are supporting schools across North, South, East and Central Birmingham with long-term, temp-to-perm and permanent teaching vacancies. This is an excellent opportunity for Primary Teachers, including ECTs and experienced teachers, who want to secure their next role early, find the right school fit, and work with a recruitment partner that prioritises long-term stability and career progression. We are recruiting for roles across EYFS, KS1 and KS2, with opportunities available in a range of supportive and well-led primary school environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality lessons in line with the Primary National Curriculum
  • Teach pupils in EYFS, KS1 or KS2, depending on experience and preference
  • Create a positive, inclusive and well-managed classroom environment
  • Assess pupil progress and adapt teaching to meet individual needs
  • Work collaboratively with year groups, support staff and senior leadership
  • Support pupils' academic progress, wellbeing and personal development

What We're Looking For

  • Experience teaching in a UK primary school setting
  • QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
  • ECTs are encouraged to apply
  • Strong understanding of the Primary National Curriculum
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
