This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about student wellbeing and behaviour support, with clear progression pathways and the chance to work with KS4 in future. Key Responsibilities: * Provide targeted pastoral support to students in KS3, helping them manage school life and overcome barriers to learning * Work closely with Heads of Year to implement behaviour strategies, monitor attendance and support student welfare * Deliver 1:1 and small group mentoring sessions focused on emotional wellbeing, resilience, and behaviour * Support in planning and delivering pastoral interventions, assemblies and enrichment activities * Build positive relationships with families, external agencies and the wider school community * Support safeguarding procedures and contribute to pastoral review meetings Ideal Candidate Will Have: * Experience working in a pastoral, behaviour or mentoring role within a school or youth setting * Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work with students, staff and families * A calm, consistent and empathetic approach to supporting young people * Good understanding of the secondary school environment and challenges faced by KS3/KS4 students * A genuine passion for student wellbeing and inclusion Location & Transport – Waltham Forest, London (E17): * Excellent transport links via Walthamstow Central (Victoria Line & Overground) * Bus routes: 69, 97, 158, 230, W15 * Ample staff parking available on-site If you\’re ready to play a key role in shaping students\’ school experience and want to grow within a supportive environment, apply today with Long Term Futures. 🔹 Immediate and September start dates available – reach out now to discuss the next steps
