Are you an experienced SEND Teaching Assistant looking for a meaningful and long-term role? A supportive primary school in Oldbury is seeking a committed and resilient TA to join their SEND provision, providing targeted support for pupils with additional needs. You’ll be part of a skilled and welcoming team, helping children to access learning, develop key skills, and build confidence in a safe and structured environment.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Deliver 1:1 and small group support tailored to individual pupil needs
- Work collaboratively with the class teacher and SENCO
- Support emotional regulation, communication, and classroom engagement
- Use a calm, consistent approach to promote positive behaviour
- Help create a nurturing and inclusive learning space
What We’re Looking For
- A Level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning, or an equivalent relevant qualification
- Previous experience working in a SEND setting or resource base
- Confident supporting pupils with additional and complex needs
- Calm, patient and adaptable with strong communication skills
- Team player who’s passionate about inclusion and pupil progress
