Long Term Futures is supporting a vibrant and inclusive primary school in Brixton (SW9) in their search for a passionate and qualified Nursery Practitioner to join the Early Years team from 22nd April 2025.
The ideal candidate will be confident in delivering the Early Years curriculum, creating engaging learning environments, and supporting a range of developmental needs - including those with SEN.
Key Responsibilities:- Plan and deliver engaging and age-appropriate activities in line with the EYFS framework
- Create a safe, nurturing and stimulating classroom environment for all learners
- Promote children's development in key areas such as communication, literacy, numeracy, and personal, social & emotional skills
- Support pupils with additional needs, adapting activities and routines where needed
- Track and assess progress, contributing to observations and pupil profiles
- Follow safeguarding and health & safety procedures at all times
- A Level 3 qualification in Childcare, Early Years Education, EYFS or equivalent (CACHE, NVQ, etc.)
- Previous experience in a nursery or EYFS setting, ideally within a primary school
- Strong understanding of child development and the Early Years curriculum
- A creative, proactive, and nurturing approach
