Long Term Futures are seeking a qualified and enthusiastic Level 3 Nursery Practitioner who holds a valid Paediatric First Aid qualification to join a supportive primary school in Thornton Heath, South London. This is a brilliant opportunity for a dedicated individual who holds a recognised Level 3 childcare qualification and is looking for a fulfilling long-term role with the potential to become permanent. Shifts will run from approximately 8:00 AM and potentially include evening cover finishing 6:00 PM. As a vital member of the nursery team, you\'ll be responsible for providing high-quality daily care and supervision for young children, assisting the Nursery Teacher and ensuring a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment. Your Core Responsibilities: Assist the Nursery Teacher with engaging and educational activities across the early years curriculum. Ensure a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment is maintained for all children at all times. Support daily routines effectively, including mealtimes, sleep periods, and personal care. Communicate effectively and professionally with pupils, parents, and fellow staff members. Contribute to tracking and recording children\'s development and progress. Essential Candidate Requirements: Must hold a Level 3 Early Years Educator or Childcare qualification (e.g., Diploma in Childcare and Education, Diploma for Early Years Educators). Paediatric First Aid qualification is essential and must be valid. Prior experience working in an early years or nursery setting is essential. Possess a genuine passion for working with young children and supporting their development. Demonstrate patience, creativity, and strong communication skills.
