Long Term Futures is working with a welcoming primary school in Nuneaton (CV10) to recruit a SEN EYFS Teaching Assistant. You will provide 1:1 support to a highly challenging EYFS pupil, working towards EHCP outcomes, while also supporting the class when required.
The Role- Deliver consistent 1:1 SEN support within an EYFS setting
- Support learning, emotional regulation and engagement
- Use clear routines, boundaries and de-escalation strategies
- Assist with whole-class and small-group activities
- Adapt tasks and resources to meet individual needs
- Work closely with the SENDCo and class teacher
- Experience supporting EYFS children with SEN (ASD, ADHD, SEMH)
- Confidence working 1:1 with challenging behaviour
- Calm, patient and resilient approach
- Understanding of EHCPs (desirable)
- Passion for early years SEN support
- Modern two-form entry primary
