About the Role

As a KS2 Class Teacher, you will take responsibility for delivering engaging and inspiring lessons that enable every pupil to achieve their full potential. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Planning and delivering creative, high-quality lessons in line with the KS2 National Curriculum
  • Creating a positive, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment where pupils feel supported to succeed
  • Differentiating learning to meet the needs of pupils with a range of abilities and learning styles
  • Monitoring pupil progress through effective assessment and adapting teaching accordingly
  • Preparing pupils for end-of-year assessments where appropriate
  • Working closely with Teaching Assistants to maximise pupil progress and engagement
  • Building strong relationships with parents, carers and the wider school community
  • Contributing to the wider life of the school through staff meetings, CPD and extracurricular activities

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - essential
