About the Role
As a KS2 Class Teacher, you will take responsibility for delivering engaging and inspiring lessons that enable every pupil to achieve their full potential. Your responsibilities will include:
- Planning and delivering creative, high-quality lessons in line with the KS2 National Curriculum
- Creating a positive, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment where pupils feel supported to succeed
- Differentiating learning to meet the needs of pupils with a range of abilities and learning styles
- Monitoring pupil progress through effective assessment and adapting teaching accordingly
- Preparing pupils for end-of-year assessments where appropriate
- Working closely with Teaching Assistants to maximise pupil progress and engagement
- Building strong relationships with parents, carers and the wider school community
- Contributing to the wider life of the school through staff meetings, CPD and extracurricular activities
This role is ideal for a teacher who is passionate about delivering outstanding teaching and creating a classroom culture where children are challenged, inspired and encouraged to become confident, independent learners.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - essential
- Experience teaching within Key Stage 2 (ECTs are encouraged to apply)
- Strong knowledge of the Primary National Curriculum
- Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
- Passionate about raising attainment and supporting every child to succeed
- Strong communication, organisation and teamwork skills
- Committed to continuous professional development and reflective practice
