Long Term Futures are currently recruiting for a SEND Teaching Assistant to join a well-established specialist provision in Newark (NG24 3NE). This is a full-time opportunity to work within a highly supportive and structured environment, focused on helping students reach their full potential.

The setting supports pupils aged 5-19 with a wide range of needs including autism, SEMH, communication difficulties, and complex learning needs. All students have an EHCP, and benefit from small class sizes, high staff-to-student ratios, and a personalised approach to learning.

The provision places a strong emphasis on creating a calm, nurturing environment where pupils feel safe and supported. Staff work collaboratively to deliver tailored learning, with a focus on developing both academic progress and key life skills such as communication, independence, and emotional regulation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with SEND
