Long Term Futures are working in partnership with a Further Education provider in Burton upon Trent to appoint an experienced Motor Vehicle Course Tutor on a permanent basis. This is an exciting opportunity to join a forward-thinking, learner-centred department committed to developing the next generation of automotive technicians.

You will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching across Level 1, 2 and 3 Motor Vehicle programmes, supporting learners to achieve excellent outcomes in both practical and theoretical components, while also taking a lead role in course coordination and learner progress.

The Role:

  • Deliver engaging Motor Vehicle lessons across Level 1, Level 2, and Level 3 programmes
  • Plan, prepare and assess student work in line with awarding body requirements
  • Monitor attendance, retention, achievement, and learner progress
  • Support and facilitate practical workshop-based learning and technical development
  • Promote positive attitudes, behaviours, and professional industry standards
  • Work collaboratively with Curriculum Team Leaders, Course Leaders, and management staff
  • Support course organisation, quality assurance, and continuous improvement
