Long Term Futures are recruiting Midday Supervisors to support a welcoming school in Ilford. These positions are available immediately, working five days per week for one hour each day during the school lunchtime period. This is a great opportunity for someone looking for school-based experience, particularly candidates interested in progressing into Teaching Assistant roles. Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise pupils during the lunchtime period
- Support children in the dining hall and playground
- Encourage positive behaviour and appropriate social interaction
- Help maintain a safe and enjoyable lunchtime environment
- Assist younger pupils where required
- Deal calmly and appropriately with minor incidents
- Follow the school's safeguarding and behaviour procedures
Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- A positive and approachable manner with children
- Reliability - you must be available Monday to Friday
- Confidence supervising groups of pupils
- Good communication skills
- Previous school, childcare or youth experience is desirable but not essential
- An interest in progressing into Teaching Assistant or school support work would be beneficial
Hours & Pay:
Monday - Friday | 1 hour per day | 5 hours per week | £12.71 per hour
