Learning Support Assistant - Secondary School - Hackney

Full Time | Term Time Only | September Start

Up to £120 per day | Long Term Role (Temp to Perm)

Long Term Futures are recruiting a dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to join a secondary school in Hackney, supporting students across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their experience within education, working closely with students who require additional support to access learning and achieve their full potential. While the role is due to begin in September, applicants who are available immediately are strongly encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1:1 and small-group support across KS3 and KS4
  • Support students with a range of learning and additional needs
  • Assist teachers with lesson delivery and classroom management
  • Promote engagement, confidence and independence in learning
  • Work closely with SEN and pastoral teams to support student progress
  • Help implement individual support plans and classroom strategies

Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Experience working with young people in an educational, care or support setting
