Long Term Futures is seeking a confident, experienced and highly capable Level 3 EYFS Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Nottingham from September 2026. This is an excellent opportunity for an established EYFS practitioner who is passionate about early years education and can make an immediate impact within the classroom. The school is looking for someone who can work independently, take initiative and confidently support pupils across all areas of the EYFS curriculum.

What the School is Looking For:

  • Level 3 Supporting Teaching and Learning, Early Years Educator or equivalent qualification (essential)
  • Previous experience working within an EYFS setting
  • Strong understanding of the EYFS Framework and early child development
  • Experience supporting phonics, language development and early numeracy
  • Confident supporting children with a range of additional needs, including SEND
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • A proactive and professional approach to supporting teaching and learning

About the Role:

  • Supporting teaching and learning across the EYFS curriculum
  • Delivering targeted interventions and small-group activities
  • Supporting children's communication, language and social development
  • Assisting with phonics, early reading, writing and number work
  • Supporting pupils with SEND and adapting activities where required
  • Contributing to observations, assessments and learning journeys
  • Helping to create a nurturing, stimulating and engaging learning environment

The successful candidate will be a key member of the EYFS team and play an important role in supporting pupils during this crucial stage of their development.
