Learning Support Assistant | Leicester LE2 | £95 – £105 | Temp to Permanent | ASAP Start We are looking for a committed and empathetic Learning Support Assistant to join a specialised school in Leicester, providing essential support to students with complex needs, including Autism, physical disabilities, and multiple learning difficulties. This role plays a vital part in creating an inclusive environment where students can succeed academically and personally. Key Responsibilities Deliver tailored support to promote students’ academic, social, and emotional growth. Assist with daily activities, ensuring a secure and supportive environment for all learners. Work collaboratively with teachers and support staff to implement Individualised Education Plans (IEPs). Manage challenging behaviours using positive reinforcement strategies. Support students’ independence and self-confidence through structured skill-building activities. Candidate Requirements Experience supporting individuals with special educational needs, ideally in an educational setting. A strong passion for helping young people reach their full potential. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to engage with students, staff, and families effectively. A proactive and adaptable attitude to meet diverse student needs. Up-to-date safeguarding training is highly advantageous. Eligibility Requirements The right to work in the UK. An enhanced child DBS certificate registered on the online update service or willingness to apply for one.
