HLTA - Higher Level Teaching Assistant
Location: NG20. Commute from Mansfield, Warsop and Shirebrook areas.
Day Rate: (Apply online only)
Days: Monday to Friday (Term Time Only)
Start Date: September 2025. Immediate for the right candidate.
Contract: Long-Term, Temp to Perm

Long Term Futures are looking for a passionate and skilled HLTA to join a welcoming primary school in Mansfield. This is an exciting full-time opportunity to support young learners delivering interventions, covering classes, and helping to drive pupil progress in a supportive and inclusive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the planning and delivery of engaging, curriculum-linked activities.
  • Plan and deliver small group interventions in Phonics, Early Maths, English, and Social & Emotional development.
  • Step in to cover classes where needed, maintaining consistent routines and behaviour expectations.
  • Providing targeted support to pupils across a range of abilities and needs
  • Fostering a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment
  • Assisting in the assessment and monitoring of pupil progress and development

We\'re Looking For:

  • HLTA status (Level 4 desirable but not essential)
  • A genuine passion for supporting young learners
  • Adaptability, reliability, and strong classroom management
  • Positive behaviour management strategies and a proactive, team-focused approach.
  • Excellent communication skills to work collaboratively with staff, parents, and pupils.
