Year 6 HLTA Harrow, HA3 (commutable from Kenton, Wealdstone, Queensbury, Stanmore, Harrow & Wealdstone)

Salary: 115‑130 per day

Start Date: September 2026

Contract: Full-time, long-term temporary

Long Term Futures is supporting a Harrow primary school in recruiting a knowledgeable and experienced HLTA to work with pupils across Year 6 from September. This opportunity is focused around small‑group learning support, with the successful candidate working across three Year 6 classes to help pupils build confidence and consistency in English and Maths ahead of their transition into secondary school. The school is open to applicants with a Level 4 HLTA qualification, though experienced upper KS2 Teaching Assistants with a strong intervention background will also be considered.

What the Role Will Involve:

  • Leading focused learning sessions with targeted Year 6 pupils
  • Supporting children who benefit from additional reinforcement in core subjects
