ASD/ SEN *Teaching Assistant/ 1:1 *Camden, location *Large Primary School with Excellent Transport Links *January Start- full time ASD Teaching Assistant’s in Camden – January Start A large, flourishing primary school located in the London borough of Camden has three openings for teaching assistants to work with Early Years ASD pupils from January 2025. Do you have experience working with primary children with a range of special educational needs? Are you ready to make a real difference in helping pupils to achieve their full potential? If so, then we would love to hear from you! LTF Recruitment are currently recruiting three SEN Teaching Assistants to work in a Primary school located in Camden. The positions are for Early Years and 3 SEN TA’s with the potential to work across Nursery and Reception class. The ideal candidate will be employed full time on a long terms supply basis at a 1:1 Teaching Assistant. Opportunities for permanent work are also available in the school. The day to day schedule will involve working closely with ASD pupils who experience difficulties in the classroom and encouraging them to engage in the curriculum. Supporting the SEN department with the day to day running of schedules and general duties is also required. You will also be comfortable working in one-to-one and in group settings with ASD children. The ideal candidate should have experience working with children that have ADHD and Autism, as well as have experience in dealing with challenging behaviour. A can do attitude is also very important as is some knowledge of the Early Years curriculum. There is an opportunity for the right individual to progress in a position with on going learning and development as a Teaching Assistant initially and potentially as a teacher.
