About the Role

We are looking for a flexible and resilient Teaching Assistant to take on a hybrid role, combining general classroom support with targeted SEN support. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to build experience across both mainstream and special educational needs. You will be working with pupils across the class as well as providing tailored 1:1 and small group support for children with ASD, ADHD, and behavioural needs.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting teachers in delivering engaging lessons to the whole class.
  • Providing SEN support to pupils with additional needs, including emotional regulation and behaviour management.
  • Working closely with the SENCO and teaching staff to implement personalised learning strategies.
  • Acting as a positive role model, encouraging independence and building pupil confidence.
