The Opportunity

Long Term Futures are seeking a passionate and dedicated EYFS Qualified Teacher to join a welcoming and inclusive primary school in the Gillingham area. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality early years teaching, creating a nurturing and stimulating environment where children feel safe, valued, and excited to learn. Your Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging and developmentally appropriate EYFS lessons
  • Create a warm, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
  • Support children's early language, social, emotional, and physical development
  • Use observations and assessments to inform planning and track progress
  • Build positive, supportive relationships with pupils, families, and staff
  • Work collaboratively with the EYFS team to implement the Early Years Framework effectively

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - essential
  • Strong knowledge of the EYFS Framework and early childhood pedagogy
  • Experience teaching in an EYFS setting (Nursery or Reception)
  • Excellent communication, creativity, and behaviour-management skills
  • Passion for supporting young children's development and wellbeing
  • Understanding of safeguarding, child protection, and early years best practice
  • All applicants must have an enhanced DBS and two references to be considered
