SEN Teaching Assistant Location: Walsall, WS3 Daily Rate: £(Apply online only) Days: Monday to Friday (Term Time Only) Start Date: ASAP Contract: Long-Term temporary Long Term Futures are recruiting an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming mainstream primary school in WS3, working within its dedicated SEND provision. You'll support primary-aged children with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs), helping them access individualised learning programmes tailored to their needs, abilities and developmental targets. In this role, you will: Provide 1:1 and small-group support within the SEND hub. Deliver tailored learning activities aligned with EHCP outcomes and individual learning plans. Support pupils with Autism, communication difficulties and additional learning needs. Use visual timetables, sensory resources and structured routines. Encourage emotional regulation, independence and positive social interaction. Work closely with teachers, the SENCO and specialist support staff.We're looking for: Previous experience supporting primary-aged children with SEND. Experience within a specialist provision, resource base or SEN school is highly desirable. Understanding of EHCPs, differentiated learning and positive behaviour support.
