Are you a passionate and dedicated Year 5 Teacher looking for a rewarding opportunity in a welcoming primary school? We are seeking an enthusiastic Year 5 Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in Handsworth from September 2026 for the full academic year. Applications are welcomed from both experienced teachers and ECTs who can demonstrate strong teaching practice through their placements.
What You'll Be Doing
- Plan, deliver and evaluate engaging lessons for a Year 5 class.
- Adapt teaching to meet the needs of all learners and support individual progress.
- Monitor and assess pupil achievement, using data to inform future planning.
- Create a positive, inclusive and well-structured classroom environment.
- Work closely with colleagues, support staff and the Senior Leadership Team.
- Build strong relationships with parents and carers to support pupil development.
- Prepare pupils for the transition into upper Key Stage 2 and support them in reaching their full potential.
What We're Looking For
