Primary Teaching Assistant - Upper KS2 (Years 5 & 6) Location: Birmingham, B8 Contract: Long-term/Permanent Day Rate: £105 - £120 Start Date: September 2026 Commutable From: Ward End, Washwood Heath, Saltley, Erdington, Small Heath The Opportunity: Long Term Futures are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Primary Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in the B8 area, supporting pupils across Years 5 and 6. This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside experienced teachers, helping pupils prepare for the transition to secondary school and achieve their full potential in the lead-up to Key Stage 2 SATs. The successful candidate will have strong knowledge of the Upper KS2 curriculum, particularly SPaG (Spelling, Punctuation and Grammar), Reading, Writing, and Maths, and be confident delivering targeted interventions to raise attainment.
