Are you a patient and nurturing Teaching Assistant with a passion for supporting children with additional needs? We're looking for a dedicated 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant to support a child in Year 4 at a welcoming and inclusive primary school.

This is a long-term opportunity to make a real difference to a child's progress both academically and socially, working closely with the class teacher and SENCO.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Provide 1:1 support for a Year 4 pupil with additional needs
  • Assist with classroom activities and differentiated learning
  • Support emotional regulation and encourage positive behaviour
  • Monitor progress and share updates with staff and parents
  • Help create a calm, structured, and engaging learning environment

What We're Looking For:

  • A level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning, or equivalent within a related subject
  • Experience supporting children with SEN, ideally in KS2
  • A calm, consistent, and encouraging approach
  • Confidence working 1:1 and adapting to individual needs
  • Teamwork skills and good communication with school staff
