Behaviour Specialist Birmingham (accessible via public transport, with a short walk for non-drivers) 115-120 per day

Contract: Full-time, long-term temp-to-perm (Full Academic Year)

Long Term Futures is seeking a resilient and dedicated Behaviour Specialist to work within a secondary school in Birmingham, supporting pupils across KS3 and KS4 with SEMH needs. This is a rewarding opportunity for someone passionate about making a difference to young people who require additional behavioural and emotional support. About the Role

  • Supporting students with SEMH needs both in and out of the classroom
  • Managing and de-escalating challenging behaviour in line with school policies
  • Building positive, trusting relationships with pupils to support engagement
  • Providing 1:1 and small group interventions focused on behaviour and emotional regulation
  • Supporting pupils to reintegrate into lessons following periods of dysregulation
  • Monitoring behaviour and progress, providing feedback to staff and parents where required
  • Promoting positive behaviour, resilience, and social development
  • Working collaboratively with staff
