1:1 Teaching Assistant | KS3 & KS4 | £95-£120 | Long-Term to Permanent | Immediate Start LTF Recruitment is seeking a dedicated 1:1 Teaching Assistant to work with Key Stage 3 and 4 students with ASD and behavioural needs in a supportive secondary school. This role is an opportunity to support students' educational and social development through personalised support and positive behaviour management. Key Responsibilities: Provide 1:1 support to KS3 and KS4 students with ASD, focusing on behaviour management and assisting with academic progress. Implement and adapt strategies outlined in Education, Health, and Care Plans (EHCPs) to meet individual needs. Support students in managing challenging behaviours and encourage their engagement in learning activities. Work collaboratively with teachers, SEN staff, and parents to monitor student progress and update support strategies as necessary. Apply Manual Handling or Team Teach training to ensure safe and effective management of challenging behaviours.Requirements: Proven experience working with secondary-age students with ASD and behavioural difficulties is essential.
