Long Term Futures specialises in connecting dedicated educators with vibrant primary schools across South London and the surrounding areas. We are currently recruiting for a 1:1 Teaching Assistant to join a beautiful suburban primary school in the heart of Claygate. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual who is passionate about supporting a young student with a love for football, helping them develop fundamental skills in a nurturing and inclusive environment. Responsibilities: Supporting a primary learner on a 1:1 basis, tailoring the curriculum to meet their specific needs and interests. Using a shared interest in football as a tool to engage the student and build a strong working rapport. Utilising the school\’s expansive outdoor facilities, including the Woodland Learning Zone and allotments, to enhance learning. Assisting with the preparation of bespoke learning resources to keep the student motivated and focused. Supervising the student during break and lunch periods, encouraging positive social interaction.Essential Candidate Requirements: Previous experience working within a primary school setting. A genuine interest in football (highly desirable to bond with the student). A patient, child-centred approach and a commitment to long-term student development. Excellent communication skills to collaborate with the Class Teacher and SENCo.
