ASD Teaching Assistant Location: Nuneaton, Coventry, CV10 Weekly Rate: £455 – £480 Start Date: 01/09/2025 Hours: Full Time – 8:30am to 3:30pm (Term Time Only) Contract: Long Term with potential for Permanent Looking ahead to the new academic year – are you ready for a fresh, rewarding challenge? We are hiring for a 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant to join a modern, two-form entry primary school in Nuneaton. This long-term role is to support a Year 5 boy with ASD and ADHD on a one-to-one basis, starting from September 2025. The role offers the potential to become permanent for the right candidate. The Ideal Candidate Will Have: * A Level 2/3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools (or equivalent) * Proven experience supporting pupils with ASD, ADHD, and behavioural needs * Confidence in managing challenging behaviour calmly and consistently * Experience following EHCP targets and contributing to reviews * The ability to work collaboratively with class teachers and the wider SEN team * Strong understanding of the UK primary curriculum and SEN strategies About the School: * Modern two-form entry primary with excellent facilities * Committed to inclusive education and pupil wellbeing * Forest School provision supporting outdoor learning and development * Supportive and forward-thinking senior leadership team * Part of a Multi-Academy Trust with training and CPD opportunities * On-site staff parking available Apply Today!
