Art Teacher Southwark, SE16 150- 210 per day Full Time Start September 2025 Interviews in June Hand Over in July with Part Time Hours A small nurturing school in Southwark, London, are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Art Teacher to join our team from September 2025 . With class sizes of just 6-8 students and a maximum school capacity of 42, we offer a unique opportunity for teachers to make a meaningful impact. What We Offer: Small class sizes and a focused, supportive learning environment Strong work-life balance and a collegial school culture Access to EAP support and a committed Senior Leadership Team Opportunities to lead and shape your subject curriculum A structured handover with the current Art Teacher prior to the summer break Key Responsibilities: Deliver engaging Art lessons across KS3 and KS4 , including Entry Level and GCSE pathways Plan and develop Schemes of Work and lesson plans in line with the school\’s curriculum policy Work closely with exam boards to manage and upload assessment materials Foster a creative, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment Work collaboratively with a Learning Support Assistant and, where applicable, 1:1 LSAs Support the wellbeing, progress, and engagement of all students Ideal Candidate Profile: Experienced Art educator with a track record of planning and delivering Entry Level and GCSE content Skilled in liaising with exam boards and managing assessment submissions Strong understanding of how to adapt teaching for mixed-age and ability classes Organised, proactive, and passionate about supporting creative learning A strong team player who thrives in a supportive, close-knit school environment Why Long Term Futures?
