Long Road is a thriving, successful post-16 Sixth Form College with 2,600 students on roll across a variety of studies. Conveniently located close to the M11 and A14, within easy reach of several areas of outstanding natural beauty and the Norfolk and Suffolk coast, the college is set next to the Biomedical Campus in its own attractive grounds in the beautiful and expanding city of Cambridge. Long Road was judged by OFSTED to be Good or Outstanding in all five categories at its most recent inspection in February 2025.
As our ideal candidate, you will provide a technical service to staff and students in the Visual and Performing Arts department, as well as taking responsibility for maintaining equipment and supporting Music, Drama and Musical Theatre courses and projects.
Previous experience of working with sound, lighting, recording and editing equipment is necessary, as are good team working and communication skills.
