We are looking for a dynamic and dedicated Physics specialist, with the ability to teach on our Physics A Level course. You’ll consistently provide high-quality lessons and promote a positive and professional example to both staff and students. You will be highly motivated, and we will absolutely encourage you to develop innovative and supportive approaches to inspire our students to achieve their maximum potential.

We value working as a team to collectively plan and resource but also focus on teacher agency within the classroom. This role will commence in September 2026 and is being offered as either full- or part-time between 60% and 100% full-time equivalent.

Long Road Sixth Form College is a dynamic, inclusive, state coeducational sixth form college of 2800 students located in Cambridge, offering a vibrant and supportive environment for learners aged 16–19. Situated next to the Cambridge Biomedical Campus, the College provides a broad curriculum, offering A levels, Applied Level 3 and Level 2 Diplomas, and GCSE programmes within a vibrant learning environment.
