ROLE OVERVIEW:
We are looking for an experienced Electrical Control and Instrumental Engineer to join our commercial team working on a portfolio of projects where you will play a crucial part in ensuring the reliable and efficient operation of processes through the design, implementation, and maintenance of control systems and instrumentation.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide EC&I technical services to existing clients as instructed.
- To meet the requirements of the agreed schedule identified within the project plan for the EC&I deliverables as assigned by the Framework Manager.
- Effectively liaise with the Framework Manager to solve any problems which arise.
- Attend site when required.
- To ensure that the applicable legislation and standards are applied across all aspects of EC&I delivery to the Project.
- To provide technical input during design phase, with an emphasis on constructability of the design.
- Ideally you will have experience of working in the gas and utilities industry.
- Creating electrical schematics, control logic diagrams, and instrument loop diagrams.
SKILLS REQUIRED:
- Experience: Electrical Control and Instrumentation engineering specifically in projects. Modifications, testing and technical review of documentation within the energy sector in particular Hazardous Area experience is essential.
- A strong understanding of the Gas industry and design standards.
- Skills: Delivery focused and able to achieve business critical timescales and work under pressure.
