Long O Donnell is a leading provider of consultancy services in the energy and utilities sector. We are seeking a skilled CAD Operator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will work on gas network infrastructure projects, ensuring accuracy, quality, and adherence to client standards. This can either be a full time position or part time at 10/15 hours a week. Key Responsibilities: Maintain vigilance and follow appropriate procedures to ensure the security of sensitive information. Ensure adherence to client specifications and codes of practice. Produce and update CAD drawings for gas network infrastructure projects using AutoCAD and/or Microstation on your own IT equipment. Prepare scale route plans and easement drawings as required. Undertake updates in line with client specifications. Work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team. Represent Long O Donnell professionally during all tasks. Acquire, use, and wear PPE correctly, and ensure compliance with site rules. Complete tasks on schedule to a high standard of quality. Maintain accurate records of professional development and provide evidence when required. Support and train junior team members as needed. Use and maintain property provided by Long O Donnell or clients with due care and respect. Requirements: Experience with AutoCAD and MS Office Strong understanding of client specifications and industry standards. Ability to work independently using personal IT equipment.
