Long Clawson Dairy (Clawson Farms) is seeking a Line Leader in our Packing Hygiene team, situated in the picturesque village of Long Clawson. The role offers a salary of £16.34 per hour for 36.65 hours per week, Monday to Friday from 1700 to 0100.

What you’ll do:

  • Manage your line, ensuring colleagues and activities are effectively and efficiently managed.
  • Work with the Team Leader to meet set targets.
  • Encourage teamwork and develop improved ways of working within your team.
  • Collaborate with the departmental management team to promote the Hygiene Department.
  • Create and amend CIC’s.
  • Improve productivity and reduce costs through waste control.
  • Conduct daily audits of machinery pre and post clean.
  • Deep clean relevant areas as required.
  • Ensure adherence to Health & Safety procedures, Quality/Hygiene standards, and Company Rules/Procedures.
  • Assist with training delivery for the team.
  • Report issues impacting product quality and hygiene activities.
  • Conduct daily team briefings and maintain robust handover systems.
  • Create and maintain daily KPI reports for the Hygiene manager and department heads.

What are we looking for?

  • A hardworking individual who thrives under pressure.
  • Experience in food manufacturing or a similar industry is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of allergen awareness, food safety, and Health & Safety practices.
  • A Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate is desirable.
  • Familiarity with HACCP and/or COSHH is a bonus.
  • Good numeracy and literacy skills for reporting activities.
  • Experience managing a team.
  • Basic IT skills including Excel, Word, and email.
