Salary and Benefits: Up to £41,500 per annum, dependent on experience, plus competitive benefits.

Working Hours: Monday to Friday – alternating earlies (06:00–14:00) and lates (14:00–22:00).

Location: Bottesford (NG13 0EL, Leicestershire), commutable from Nottingham, Melton Mowbray and Grantham.

Role Overview: Maintenance Engineer responsible for managing highly specialised equipment in the factory, fixing breakdowns, carrying out planned maintenance, developing improvements, and supporting capital projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Fix breakdowns and carry out planned maintenance.
  • Develop improvements and support investment strategy.
  • Help with capital project installations.
  • Use RCA techniques to prevent recurring issues.
  • Share learnings with other shifts.
  • Respond to critical breakdowns for quick repair.
  • Work under the guidance of the shift lead and complete allocated work.
  • Carry out effective PPMs and review PPMs to ensure they are suitable.
  • Complete necessary reports and paperwork.
  • Complete jobs on the Agility system ensuring relevant information is included.
  • Ensure effective communication with engineering and production stakeholders.
  • Actively update shift lead on workload.
  • Actively support and encourage team members.
  • Behave honestly and industriously, showing respect.
  • Ensure adherence to health and quality standards.
