We are now seeking a number of Technical Operators to join the Clawson family situated in the picturesque village of Long Clawson, just 6 miles from Melton Mowbray.
What you’ll do:
- Work collaboratively within a small team to carry out the piercing and bagging of cheeses, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently, safely, and in line with prescribed work instructions and quality standards.
- Report problems or issues as they arise, which may impact on product quality or production activities.
- Timely and accurate cleaning of the line and end of day dismantling and cleaning of equipment, tools, and work area where appropriate.

What are we looking for?
- Industrious and able to work under pressure.
- Good level of fitness - able to lift weights of up to 20kg and push/pull weights of up to 1000kg, in accordance with manual handling training.
- Basic Food Hygiene Certificate (to be achieved within 6 months).
- Adaptable/flexible to meet requirements and demands of production and seasonal fluctuations.
- Quality focused.
- Food/process manufacturing background.
- Good standard of spoken and written English.
