Long Clawson Dairy (Clawson Farms) is based in Long Clawson (LE14 4PJ) and offers a salary of £16.34 per hour plus great benefits. The working hours are 36.65 hours per week, Monday to Friday, from 1700 to 0100.

We are now seeking a Line Leader in our Packing Hygiene team, to join the Clawson family situated in the picturesque village of Long Clawson, just 6 miles from Melton Mowbray.
What you’ll do:
- You will be responsible for the management of your line, ensuring colleagues and activities within the area are managed effectively and efficiently.
- Working with the Team Leader, you will ensure that your part of the team meets all its set targets.
- Encourage teamwork and develop new improved ways of working within your team.
- Strive to improve productivity and cost reduction through control of waste and losses.
- Ensure Health & Safety procedures, Quality/Hygiene standards, and Company Rules/Procedures are adhered to at all times.
- Conduct daily team briefings and ensure a robust system of handovers with the production team is maintained.
- Create and maintain daily KPI reports for delivery to the Hygiene manager and department heads.
What are we looking for?
- A hardworking individual who thrives under pressure and stays focused on delivering excellent results.
- Experienced in food manufacturing (or a similar industry) is a big plus.
- Strong knowledge of allergen awareness, food safety, and Health & Safety practices.
- A Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate is desirable, but we’re happy to support your development if you’re keen to achieve it.
- Familiarity with HACCP and/or COSHH is a bonus.
- Good level of numeracy & literacy to carry out area reporting activities.
- Experience of managing a team.
- Basic IT skills including Excel, Word, and email.
