The Trainee Data Analyst will play a key role in supporting the Data & Performance team by collecting, analysing, and maintaining data to support the successful delivery of the smart Metering Programme across the region. This entry-level position is ideal for an individual looking to develop a career in data analytics, offering structured training and hands-on experience across operational, commercial, and compliance functions.
Working closely with operational, planning, compliance, and commercial teams, the Trainee Data Analyst will assist in producing accurate reports, monitoring performance, enhancing data quality, and generating actionable insights that support informed decision-making and programme success.
Reporting & Performance Tracking- Support the preparation of daily, weekly, and monthly KPI reports.
- Assist in building dashboards and visuals using Excel and/or Power BI.
- Monitor programme trends such as productivity, success rates, compliance, and turnaround times.
- Help prepare information for internal reviews, client meetings, and commercial submissions.
- Assist in preparing presentations and reports for senior leadership to communicate findings and recommendations.
- Working with Stakeholders to present insights clearly.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (basic formulas essential; advanced skills beneficial).
- Strong numerical and analytical mindset.
- Willingness to undertake training in SQL, Power BI, and other analytical tools.
- Comfortable working with technology, digital systems, and datasets.
